Team Bodyology

All of our massage therapists have met the strict competency requirements of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Natasha Opperman-Verlegh, RMT
Natasha is assistant general manager and helps
oversee the operations at Bodyology. She has acquired almost a decade of massage therapy and management experience, most recently as a regional manager for the health clinic division of a nationally branded fitness chain. She graduated from Centennial College with an advanced diploma in massage therapy and has gained a proficiency in helping clients improve strength and mobility. She enjoys cooking and exploring new recipes, shopping at local farmers’ markets and playing board games.
Erika Saldana, RMT
Erika is lead therapist and works closely with
our team of RMT’s to ensure that Bodyology is delivering a high quality of care and meeting our client’s goals. She graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and has continually expanded her techniques and training to include yoga teacher training, prenatal massage, shiatsu and hot stone massage. She combines her massage experience working with the diverse clientele at the Sutherland-Chan Clinic with her yoga training to provide customized treatment plans that often include mobility exercises. Erika loves to cook (she makes a killer strawberry shortcake) and is passionate about traveling.

bodyology jason
Jason George, RMT
After working in various construction roles
and most recently as a heavy equipment mechanic, Jason has found his calling as a healthcare practitioner. He earned diplomas in massage therapy and medical acupuncture and uses his deep understanding of anatomy and physiology to tailor therapeutic treatments to the needs of each individual client. He’s been riding motorcycles since he was a kid and recently did an 18,000 kilometer bike trip across the United States on his Kawasaki Vulcan. Jason is also an avid reader of poetry and is learning to play the piano.

Dawn Marie Tobler, RMT
Dawn Marie brings over a decade of
experience in the health, wellness and fitness industry. She completed her massage therapy training at the Sutherland-Chan School and is also a certified fascial stretch therapist as well as having completed training in acupuncture. She got her start as an RMT at the Sutherland-Chan Clinic and gained a well-rounded skill set but her passion for working out led her to GoodLife Fitness where she delivered tailored treatment plans to both weekend warriors and competitive athletes. Outside of work, Dawn Marie goes on morning walks with her Aussiedoodle dog, scours the city for the best new dark roast espresso, and enjoys taking her son to his weekly soccer games.

Ilona Valitskaya, RMT
Ilona was born and raised in Russia where
she competed in youth gymnastics at the national level. She then moved to Israel and joined the Israeli national team. After moving to Canada, she began coaching youth at all competitive levels. Ilona then pursued a diploma in massage therapy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). She is passionate about combining her deep knowledge of stretching and movement with her formal training in massage therapy in order to deliver a personalized wellness plan for each of her clients. When she’s not at work, Ilona enjoys riding her bike, BBQ’s with friends, and simply exploring Toronto with her one year old son. She speaks Russian and Hebrew.

Emily Macmillan, RMT
Emily has gained a strong and well-rounded
skill set through a combination of formal training, work experience and volunteer experiences. She graduated from the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and has received additional training in kinesio taping and advanced first aid training. Upon graduation, Emily worked at the Stillwater Spa at the Park Hyatt before transitioning to a multi-disciplinary clinic. Throughout her studies and career, she has had numerous opportunities to volunteer in offsite clinical settings at local athletic events as well as national-level ones such as the Toronto 2015 Pan-Am Games. She draws from her diverse skills and background to provide a customized wellness plan for each individual client. We’re just one small clinic tucked away on a little side street in big city Toronto – can we really make a difference? Well, that’s not the point. We’re going to try. #doingourpart
